![]() ![]() And it's also BIG, so you can spend a lot of time there. I'd suggest you consider getting Texas soon, which is new and fantastic. It is VERY rural state but does have an impressive (albeit rural) road network and the signage is really good. Wyoming is probably the least interesting of the remaining states you are missing. It also compliments the Utah DLC nicely, I would say the two are on par with each other in terms of visuals. I would say go for Colorado if you are interested in complex road networks and interchanges, as it has a little bit of everything. So that leaves us with Colorado and Wyoming. I can only recommend Montana if you are *really* into the nature and rich history of the area. You could look into Montana to complete the road network around Idaho, but it is still relatively new so I imagine the Steam sales are not that great. That leaves us with Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. ![]() Despite the complaints with cargo and companies, Idaho is a must have in my opinion. I agree with his assertion that Idaho set the standard for new visuals. It will get touched up too eventually but it doesn't need a ton at all. It still holds up even to the newest dlc's and its dirt cheap as well when you catch the sales. If you want to drive from Texas to any other state, NM is the no brainer. Its the very first ATS dlc and its still holds up well to be a 5 year old map. Utah introduced the rock formation tools and was a huge game changer for the way SCS does landscape to date. Directly East of the aged quality gets you Utah, Wyoming and Colorado. Idaho also set the new standard for visuals, imo.ģ) if you have Idaho, Montana is a 100% must have to polish off its lack there of road network that lacks irl as wellĤ) you will want much better quality than the base map and to finally get East from the base map. It requires Washington and Oregon min.Ģ) if you have Washington and Oregon, you might as well have Idaho as its part of the PNW and polishes those 2 off nicely. If I had to say what's minimum for ATS, I still have to say all maps for several reasonsġ) if you like ProMods ETS2, you will want to install ProMods Canada. The further East we get, the better ATS gets. Texas alone adds 4 of them in its own way. You get the full perception form having diverse biomes. You can get them much much cheaper as bundles now that so many states are out. ATS's value comes from having all the maps honestly. ![]()
